6 week Pregnancy course

Nestled away in in the cosy Cork Lotus Yoga Studio in the heart of Cork City.

Yoga is for me is all about dropping out of your head and into your body and I feel that should be the same through pregnancy.

During this class you will be guided through appropriate yoga postures + sequences designed to bring together a combination of strengthening the body, whilst also surrendering, opening + letting go. A nourishing class providing a unique opportunity to cultivate stability and calmness in both body and mind, whilst emphasizing the awareness + connection between you + your growing baby.

A supportive space preparing for, + welcoming the changes + challenges of pregnancy, labour + early motherhood.

Each birth is miraculous, regardless of how baby will journey earthside. I truly believe Yoga can support women during pregnancy, labour and beyond into motherhood.

After carrying and birthing my own baby I became even more in awe of our bodies and power they possess. The miracle that is growing and birthing new life inspired me to train under Sally Parkes and become a Pregnancy Yoga Teacher.

This prenatal yoga practice has nothing really to do with touching your toes but everything to do with finding some grounding, tapping into self care and coming to terms with anything you might be moving through.

It can also just be a space for you to just lie and do nothing, because growing a baby can be hard.
Diving a little deeper into self love - for you and you little one

Join in the first trimester if you have a regular yoga practice. If you are new to yoga it is recommended to wait until after the first trimester, around 12/13 weeks before starting. You can then practice right up to full term.
