An early morning yoga flow delivered in a meaningful, connected and light hearted manner as we encompass elements of movement, exploration and grounding. The perfect seaside ritual taking a moment to create space around the lungs as we prepare for cold water immersion.
Followed by a seat in the wilder wellness sauna, taking in the gorgeous views of Garretstown Beach. A chance to wind down and stimulate the release of those endorphins. An opportunity to try hot - cold therapy - switching between Sauna and a plunge into the ocean.
Closing it off with dreamy Açaí Bowl from the guys at the Bean + Berry.The infamous bowls ‘The G Special’ are packed with good stuff. Sure to hit the spot after a Yoga class and Sauna Session.
I am delighted to announce the first weekend retreat of 2024 will take place on the gorgeous Sherkin Island. ( 10 minutes by Ferry from Baltimore)

This retreat is suitable for all levels. Come alone or bring a friend.We will create space for community.
We will have aspects of natural elements interlaced throughout our practices. Encouraging a deeper level of awarenesses to our movement and breath.

Anger, worry, anxiety, guilt, sadness, jealousy.... most of us work hard to avoid, ignore or even get rid of these uncomfortable inner world experiences. But often the more we try to avoid and suppress our unpleasant emotions and memories, our unwanted thoughts, our unwelcome urges and sensations, we end up creating even more discomfort. Sometimes this can even get in the way, holding us back from doing things that are important to us and living a meaningful life.
Ciara will hold space for meditation + mantra, returning home to one’s self, mind, body and spirit. Expect themes aimed at empowerment and self-acceptance.
Aideen, a qualified psychologist, will introduce concepts and exercises from her training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and teach psychological skills for handling uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, explore values and what is meaningful to you, and use that knowledge to guide, and motivate you to take action that enriches your life.
Time to surround ourselves with other women, to connect and to shed any resistance towards becoming the best version of ourselves.

Luna Wave have partnered with VivoBarefoot to take you outside this winter, to move naturally and to feel the ground beneath your feet.
During the practice, you will be guided through a mindful, flowing series of standing postures that will help you strengthen, lengthen and find balance. Before closing with pranayama breathwork and final seated meditation (on a block).

This is a free event! When booking in use the 'FREE VivoBarefoot Class' option. We are keeping numbers to 8 to begin with as we play with the weather. But we would highly recommend that you put your name on the waitlist as we will only take this class to the dome should there be any rain. Should the weather stay nice, we will open up more spaces in the class the day before, so we would suggest adding yourself as there's a chance you could come off.
* Wrap up in warm layered clothes you can move in (and remove if you get too hot!). Light supple footwear (vivo's/ barefoot shoes/ wet shoes etc ) and warm socks / yoga toe socks, fleecy, light waterproof jacket, hats and gloves are recommended - depending on the weather we immerse ourselves in.
