The class will begin with a gentle, warming, heart opening Yang practice allowing prana to flow within the body as we encourage strength and flexibility targeting the muscles. We will then transition into the cooling stillness of a Yin practice to help achieve a balanced state. Yin yoga emphasises on long, passive holds to help target connective tissue, joints and ligaments while helping us to relax into the deepest layers of the body. A little bit of everything – strengthening, stretching, balancing, breathing and meditating.
